SUMMARY:Society of Wetlands Scientists Europe Chapter – Annual Meeting
DESCRIPTION:16th SWS Europe Chapter conference (on-line) \nConnecting wetlands functionning and biodiversity towards nature-based solutions \nJune 15th-17th 2021 \nThis conference is mainly dedicated to young scientists who are strongly encouraged to submit their work and participate at the conference. A prize will be offered for the best presentation (250€). \nThe conference is organised by the Society of Wetland Scientists (SWS) Europe Chapter and Tour du Valat. The SWS Europe Chapter was founded with the intent of bringing together wetland scientists and other professionals from around Europe who share common interests in wetland science and management. \nSWS Europe is focused on understanding and advancing wetland science\, as well as assuring that decision-making processes affecting wetlands are based on an understanding of wetland science. Carrying out this mission requires members who are informed about both the underlying science and the kinds of considerations that affect decision-making\, many of which are specific to Europe. DESCRIPTION:The Society for Ecological Restoration (SER) will host the 9th World Conference on Ecological Restoration virtually from 21 – 24 June 2021. \nAs we enter the UN Decade for Ecosystem Restoration there has never been a more important time to bring together scientists\, academics\, researchers and experts from the fields of rehabilitation and environmental restoration\, alongside practitioners and industry leaders to tackle the vast environmental challenges that we face today. \nThis four-day meeting will bring together restoration professionals and students from around the world and provide a lively forum for networking and knowledge exchange. \nWe invite participants from across the field of ecological restoration\, including academics\, researchers\, practitioners\, students\, artists\, economists\, advocates\, legislators\, regulators\, and others who support the field to join us virtually to connect\, learn\, and work towards catalyzing global change as we start the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration.

SUMMARY:REVER 11 - Restaurer et s'enraciner
DESCRIPTION:Les journées se tiendront du 29 juin au 1er juillet 2021\nau Pôle Universitaire de Gap dans les Hautes-Alpes (05)\nLa journée du 25 sera consacrée à des visites de terrain\nPossibilité de s’inscrire ici \n  \nREVER 11 dans les Alpes… \nL’organisation de REVER 11 en 2020 n’a pas été possible\, mais elle est reportée cette année du 29 juin au 1er juillet 2021. \nPour la 11ème édition de ses journées ateliers\, le réseau REVER s’est associé au Conservatoire Botanique National Alpin (CBNA) et l’Institut national de recherche pour l’agriculture\, l’alimentation et l’environnement (INRAE)\, pour organiser 3 jours d’échanges\, de rencontres et de sorties de terrain autour de la restauration des écosystèmes. La thématique retenue cette année est RESTAURER et S’ENRACINER\, pour souligner et discuter de l’importance du compartiment sol dans la restauration écologique. \nCette édition se déroulera en lien avec une journée de visites de sites de restauration dans le cadre du projet Gebiodiv. Il s’agit d’un progamme PITEM Biodiv’Alp : Gebiodiv – Gérer les réservoirs de biodiversité et les écosystèmes pour mieux les protéger ensemble. Il s’inscrit dans un programme plus large – PITEM BiodivAlp – qui vise à endiguer l’érosion de la biodiversité alpine et à renforcer l’attractivité des territoires.
